Jaclyn Steele – a short film by Bruce Philpott

This is a 22 minute film centered around my last house concert in Santa Rosa, CA and my song writing process with song writer, Michael Capella.

The song writing content that was captured in the film is taken from over 3 hours of recorded video while Michael and I wrote “Stepped Into Heaven” about the love my grandmother and grandfather share.  It was written shortly after my grandmother, Gerri Steele, passed away.

The tears, laughter, and love are all beautifully captured and I am so grateful to Bruce Philpott (& Michelle) for their time in creating this piece of personal history for me.

I am honored to have been asked to be in this film and even more honored that people are watching it.

Thank you so much for all the love and in return I send you LIGHT, LOVE, & PEACE,

Jaclyn Steele

  1. What a beautiful introduction to your musical artistry and the powerful creative chemistry you and Michael have. Love his playing and harmony! The song about your grandparents is most touching and, of course, I dig the rock&roll. I greatly enjoyed the entire film and I’m sharing it with my friends.
