Success is subjective, but in our culture, success is often associated with material possessions, right?
What kind of house do you live in? What kind of car do you drive? How much money is in your bank account? You get the idea.
It perpetuates a cycle of anxiety, fear, never being enough, never having enough time, etc… Not exactly the ingredients for a happy day – or happy life for that matter.
I’ve been thinking about success lately and what that means for me on a spiritual level in addition to what success looks like on a day to day basis. Maybe success for me is a state of mind… a peaceful state of mind.
I decided I needed to completely redefine what “success” looks like for me. And because I am such a HUGE fan of baby steps, I decided it was really important for me to start thinking of success in terms of a day rather than a lifetime… a “successful life” (whatever that really means) feels very daunting to me.
So I broke it down and have started asking myself 3 questions to gauge whether or not I’ve had a successful day.
One day leads to two leads to a week leads to a month leads to a year… Again, you get the idea. Baby steps.
I hope this VLOG is encouraging for you to hear. I want you to feel empowered to take on the day before it begins versus feeling bogged down before you’ve even had your coffee…
