I pulled card 17 - 528Hz Mandala of the Heart - from the White Light Oracle Deck. It never ceases to amaze me how Spirit moves - through a deck, a phone call, a "random" message, a sentence that jumps out on a page from a book you put down months ago, but just picked up again...

I shared yesterday on IGTV how intimately God met me recently. Sam and I have been saying for the last few months that we are craving stability. That word - stability - has been spoken over and over in our house. Why? We've been RV living for almost 10 months and we are ready for the ease of living in a place that doesn't move. A full size washer and dryer. A full size refrigerator. A heating and cooling system that doesn't sound like a jet engine all day. Walls that don't rock and sway with the wind...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don't get me wrong. RV living has been incredible and the lessons I've learned I wouldn't trade for anything, but we are ready to move to the next stage. And God met us as only God can.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We've been looking for months for a home. We had almost given up, but decided to try a new approach - one of faith and ease. And as I shared in my video, God guided us to the perfect place. PERFECT. And its on a street with Oak in the name. And you know what Oak means? STABILITY.

God literally gave us stability on a silver platter. We are so powerful, and when we open ourselves up to co-creating our lives with our Creator, magic can happen.

How can I be kind to myself today? - That's what I just asked as I felt my throat tighten and my back tense up.

The last couple of months, well, let's be honest, years, have been stressful. Entrepreneurship (both my husband and I). Lots of moves (something like 14 states). Living in an RV the last 8 months in less than 300 square feet with two adults and 3 dogs. Managing and building our businesses from the road without reliable internet... blah, blah, blah. I'm so fortunate to be living this life but sometimes it does feel like I'm drinking from a fire hydrant. It's felt like that a lot recently.

There is so, so much good in there, too, but I'm reaching a point where I need some stability. And now, we are moving to Phoenix and buying a car. (We've been sharing a Ford F350 dually since we sold my vehicle last August (how did households only have 1 car?!?!?!)) - Also, picture my 5'3 self driving a small semi and let yourself laugh your A off. It's comical, but I have to say, I'm pretty good at it. People definitely get out of my way on the road...

Anyway, back to kindness and taking care of ourselves. There are periods where it's really hard to slow down. I get that. I'm in one now, so, amidst all the obligations and stimulation, I'm asking how I can be kind to myself so that I avoid burning out.

✨Meditation
✨I'm going to spend some time on the chi machine (more on that later)
✨I'm going to get oily with my EO's
✨Putting my phone away because it makes my cortisol sky rocket
✨Breatheeeee

These seemingly little things add up and, even though this period is busy, make me feel like I am valuing myself.

The subject of boundaries was brought up. A lot of you have asked me about boundaries recently. And when you are establishing boundaries, it's really normal that the people you are establishing them with give you some pushback. - Especially in the beginning.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is why grace is so important. Grace for ourselves as we wobble through having better boundaries with others, and grace for others as they wobble through their own processes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What does this look like in action: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

+ giving people a loving pass when they are late once in a while⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ not getting upset when you have to remind someone of something a couple times when they are walking through a really busy season⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ saying "no worries" and meaning it when someone needs to reschedule because they are feeling over extended⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ not responding in anger when someone is angry with you, but instead, responding with grace⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ allowing someone the room to be frustrated with you for that boundary you laid, but not letting their frustration rule you because you know you are worthy of that boundary⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We are all so human. We are all carrying so much on a daily basis. Grace allows us to move with more ease - in our relationship with ourselves and others. And like I mentioned yesterday - I'm into the simplest route these days. Little scenarios like I mentioned above aren't worth getting upset over.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We live in a society that is increasingly focused on "me, me, me," yet, when we take the journey from our head to our heart, the irony is, our heart is so often saying "you, you, you - how can I serve you?" Meaning, how can I serve those around me?

I had an incredible conversation with Dr. Keith Campbell on a book he wrote called "The New Science of Narcissism." This man literally started the national conversation around narcissism years ago, and in our podcast interview (Ep. 64), we chat:

I left L.A. yesterday. I was there for an import

I left L.A. yesterday.

I was there for an important meeting and I want to unravel several of the really cool things I’m discovering, and please, ask me your questions. We are on the self-discovery journey together.

+ as of tomorrow, I will have meditated 100 days straight. It’s no accident that some of the biggest shifts in my life have happened in the last 100 days.

+ we do not have to heal and grow alone. I used to think it was a solo journey, it’s not. It’s a solo decision to walk in the direction of healing and growth but teachers present themselves and if we are wise, we accept their help.

+ growth doesn’t have to be incremental. We can take quantum leaps and achieve well beyond the obvious. This requires a dramatic mindset shift, but these quantum leaps are available to all of us.

This healing, this growth - it’s the foundation of emotional freedom which translates into creating the life one dreams of. I’m watching it unfold before my eyes and simultaneously thinking “this is the truth I have been seeking. It’s been here all along.”

Easter is the day in which Jesus rose 🌹- we are invited to do the same.

The subject of boundaries was brought up. A lot of you have asked me about boundaries recently. And when you are establishing boundaries, it's really normal that the people you are establishing them with give you some pushback. - Especially in the beginning.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is why grace is so important. Grace for ourselves as we wobble through having better boundaries with others, and grace for others as they wobble through their own processes.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What does this look like in action: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

+ giving people a loving pass when they are late once in a while⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ not getting upset when you have to remind someone of something a couple times when they are walking through a really busy season⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ saying "no worries" and meaning it when someone needs to reschedule because they are feeling over extended⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ not responding in anger when someone is angry with you, but instead, responding with grace⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
+ allowing someone the room to be frustrated with you for that boundary you laid, but not letting their frustration rule you because you know you are worthy of that boundary⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We are all so human. We are all carrying so much on a daily basis. Grace allows us to move with more ease - in our relationship with ourselves and others. And like I mentioned yesterday - I'm into the simplest route these days. Little scenarios like I mentioned above aren't worth getting upset over.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If we look around its so easy to see the disconnection - from nature, from each other, from ourselves.

We live in a society that is increasingly focused on "me, me, me," yet, when we take the journey from our head to our heart, the irony is, our heart is so often saying "you, you, you - how can I serve you?" Meaning, how can I serve those around me?

I had an incredible conversation with Dr. Keith Campbell on a book he wrote called "The New Science of Narcissism." This man literally started the national conversation around narcissism years ago, and in our podcast interview (Ep. 64), we chat:

I left L.A. yesterday. I was there for an import

I left L.A. yesterday.

I was there for an important meeting and I want to unravel several of the really cool things I’m discovering, and please, ask me your questions. We are on the self-discovery journey together.

+ as of tomorrow, I will have meditated 100 days straight. It’s no accident that some of the biggest shifts in my life have happened in the last 100 days.

+ we do not have to heal and grow alone. I used to think it was a solo journey, it’s not. It’s a solo decision to walk in the direction of healing and growth but teachers present themselves and if we are wise, we accept their help.

+ growth doesn’t have to be incremental. We can take quantum leaps and achieve well beyond the obvious. This requires a dramatic mindset shift, but these quantum leaps are available to all of us.

This healing, this growth - it’s the foundation of emotional freedom which translates into creating the life one dreams of. I’m watching it unfold before my eyes and simultaneously thinking “this is the truth I have been seeking. It’s been here all along.”

Easter is the day in which Jesus rose 🌹- we are invited to do the same.
